Check if you’re eligible to take part

Before registering, please make sure you meet the following criteria:

  • Your farm is based in England
  • Your business has an annual turnover of at least £21,000 from farming
  • You’re willing to share financial and operational information from your accounts
  • You’re happy to give a few hours of your time each year to meet with a Research Officer online or in person.

Promar International, part of Genus plc, delivers the Farm Business Survey on behalf of Defra. Your personal data will be used solely to confirm eligibility and manage your participation in the survey. Data may be shared with trusted partners who support the delivery of the FBS.

At this time, only farms based in England can register to take part in the Farm Business Survey through this website.
